Dublin-based indie-pop artist Cat Dowling will release her new album Animals via Forever In Financial Arrears Records (FIFA Records) on November 12.
The new 11-track long-player is being released as an “anti-release” with the intent of inspiring listeners to not just purchase this album, but to explore each song individually.
Irish singer-songwriter, Cat Dowling has been widely praised for her beautifully darkpop songs and husky, achingly intimate vocals. Her music can be compared to other Irish contemporaries like Hozier, Lisa Hannigan, and Glen Hansard.
The lyrics are carefully crafted to move the listener, with varying themes including self-discovery, love, perseverance in the face of adversity.
