CYBORG AMOK releases new Gothic Rock music video

Posted on 14/11/202114/11/2021 By Chris Relkneus

"The video for CYBORG AMOK's new Gothic Rock song, Burden Away, is a perfect encapsulation of the band's sound and lyrical themes."

November 5, 2021 – Gothic/Post-Punk band CYBORG AMOK has just unveiled their new video for the song, “Burden Away.” The song appears on CYBORG AMOK’s self-titled album.

The band Cyborg Amok resides between the brilliance of twilight and the apocalyptic darkness, with their gothic infused synth-rock sound that delivers the listener to a panorama of synthetic waves, twisted or not. With synapses expanding at an exponential rate, they transport us to another world through the use of vivid imagery in their lyrics, unconventional approaches to songwriting and technical musicianship.

Greg Bullock is a poet who has devoted his life to synthesis, which he says can lead to an “enlightenment” of sorts. He formerly worked as the keyboardist for RealEyes and Shamen, and currently splits his time between CYBORG AMOK and The Antoine Poncelet Band.

Brydon Bullock is an up and coming drummer on the local music scene. He has performed with Rockit Live in NYC and on the Jersey Shore. His talent and vision for his future as a musician make him stand out from the rest of his peers.

In the year 2021 CYBORG AMOK released its self-titled album with a digital release as well as a hardcopy CD. The album is a compilation of two previous EPs that are now extinct. It’s been three years since the band was formed and they’ve already managed to put out an album!
