Metal Band Glassgod’s Symphonic album is ready to be unleashed

In 2018, lead singer Mario Hartwig and guitarist Marian Lux started working on their debut album »Ancestral Stories«. The songs combine progressive riffing with an atmospheric orchestra and synthesize. The album takes its listeners on a journey through worlds of future psychedelia, space rock, heavy metal, progressive rock and neo-classical music.

Glassgod is ready to celebrate the Symphonic Metal release of “Ancestral Stories” on Danse Macabre Records. The band is excited to share the release with fans and hopes that they will enjoy this very personal record.

The band has been heavily influenced by symphonic metal and power metal bands such as Nightwish, Epica, Within Temptation, and Dark Tranquillity. Glassgod explore a kaleidoscope of emotions and sounds with their newest album, Ancestral Stories. They emanate a sense of extreme beauty and grandeur that is followed by feelings of unease and fear. Glassgod’s sonic landscape ranges from bright and colourful to dark and barren, making them hard to pinpoint.
Finding themselves in this kaleidoscopic world allows the listener to experience the same range of emotion with each track.
