Exorcism by Sidewalks And Skeletons // Industrial Electro Artist

Posted on 02/02/202202/02/2022 By Chris Relkneus

“Exorcism” is an album which is both simultaneously dark and magical. It explores the parts of life where sadness meets beauty, when being lost feels like freedom.

Artist: Sidewalks And Skeletons

The sound is equally heavy and ethereal, from the overblown bass of the opening title track “Exorcism”, to the delicate beauty of tracks like “Eternal Rest” and “Euthanasia Daze”. This album takes the listener on a journey through experimental dark electronica and Witch House in a new and bold way for Sidewalks and Skeletons.

Since the success of his 2015 album “White Light” which now has over 26 million streams on Spotify – he has focused on his craft and created this album in a way that fans of White Light will love, as well as new fans.

Sidewalks and Skeletons has been collaborating with some of the best vocalists in the scene on this album. Creating ethereal and danceable tracks like “Shadow” with vocalist/producer Goo Munday. Dark and brooding tracks “Eternal Rest” & “Name in Blood” with ethereal darkpop singer CASHFORGOLD, and an early Crystal Castles inspired outtro track “Into The Dark” with electronica vocalist Ferngazer.

It’s about the juxtaposition between the delicate nature of the human soul – and the harsh realities of the world. Exorcism is about different forms of possession: not only the literal sense, but also the fear of being possessed by the world.

“EXORCISM” is an album that explores the frailty of human existence, and the harsh realities of the world. We all start the same way – Innocence among chaos. We are all thrust into this existence and left to find our way. And YOU have ended up HERE. So this is for you. This is your Exorcism.
