Australian Indie Noir: Michael Plater’s Psychedelic Ghost Music

Introducing Michael Plater, the Australian experimental folk psych indie noir musician who has been wowing audiences all over the world. Blending dark folk and neo folk elements, Michael Plater‘s music is a unique mix of haunting melodies, poetic lyrics and captivating rhythms. His releases on U.K. labels have been met with critical acclaim, and he continues to be one of the most exciting voices in global music today.

Ghost Music, the latest album from acclaimed artist, is out now and is sure to capture listeners’ attention around the world. Drawing inspiration from Australia’s dark history and the myths, folklore, and legends of his adopted home in Cornwall, this album is a collaboration with some of the U.K’s best musicians.  John Hannon (Liberez, Woe) and Stafford Glover (Enclosed & Silent Order, Extreme Noise Terror). With its blend of dark folk and neo-folk melodies, this album promises to be an immersive journey into a captivating soundscape.
