Panic Priest release new synthwave song ‘Angelsteal’

Posted on 11/10/202111/10/2021 By Chris Relkneus

Every week, it seems, there is a new genre of music emerging. Panic Priest’s “Angelsteal” is one of the newest incarnations of synthwave releases.

The band’s single off their upcoming album PSYCHOGORIA uses an interesting harmony between synthesizers and drums to create an entrancing soundscape that can be heard in their live performances.

Music has the power to help us heal. Listening to songs like “Angels Steal” can be therapeutic for those who are trying to cope with past trauma, as it explores themes of living with that trauma and taking control of your own fate.

This song can be used as a form of self-care by listening to it when you’re feeling low, reminding you that you’re not alone in your struggles.

There are many moments in our lives where we allow others to take charge, but sometimes they might not be the best option. This is the case with those who play a role in our life, whether it’s an “angel” or not. These people might end up taking more time than they should, and one can take back this time to live their life how they want.

Angelsteal is the first single off of Panic Priest’s new album which will be released in February 2022 on Negative Gain Records. The song has been described as a “mix of ethereal shoegaze and classic indie rock.
