Screens 4 Eyes has a wonderful, dreamy track record of walking this middle ground, this place where indie cool and cinematic ambience, free floating musical forms and almost dance inspired background grooves. This is because their music always manages to invoke a sense of awe between its sounds, the listener is able to transcend their moods to a place that feels like home. EP “Meridians” Release Date 26.11.2021
Bands like Beach House and Purity Ring, The Paper Kites and Wild Nothing, and Twin Shadow all draw from the musical traditions of shoegaze, psych pop, dream pop, and indie. The band may occasionally wander around the sonic playgrounds once inhabited by the likes of My Bloody Valentine and Siouxsie and the Banshees, Dead Can Dance and The Cocteau Twins.
In a world where things are always changing, one constant that remains true is change.
One of the most interesting and diverse styles in modern day music is a genre called "dreampop". The label covers a vast spectrum from ambiance to punk-rock, from lyrical sweetness to harsh screams. One of the most notable current projects in this genre is Screens 4 Eyes. In recent months they have been releasing new material for listeners to enjoy.
The newest release from Screens 4 Eyes is a reminder of what we can expect from the indie pop-rock band in the future. With their new E.P, "Meridians", Screens 4 Eyes show that they're not just content with creating catchy indie rock songs, but also creating instrumentally layered tracks that will reverberate through your headphones for days after.
Screens 4 Eyes is an Indie Dreampop / Electro Rock music project from Tel Aviv, founded by musician Yael Brener. It fuses elements of Electronica, Synthpop and New Wave. After releasing 2 Albums; Ask Me Not (2015) and Behind These Doors (2017), E.P Liquid (2021) and several singles, the project releases a new E.P – Meridians.
