Joe Rogan Crashed Axl Rose’s Dinner in Greece and Only One of Them Looks Thrilled

Guns N’ Roses frontman Axl Rose is notoriously selective about when he gets his photo taken. Sure, when he’s on stage he doesn’t really have a say in the matter and sometimes he’ll wave to a gathered crowd outside a hotel room every once in a while, but he’s also known to want his privacy. I mean, it’s so much that a woman got fired from her hotel job moments after posting a video of him and the rest of the band while they were staying at her establishment.

So I can’t imagine Rose entirely thrilled when noted meathead and gullible multi-millionaire podcaster Joe Rogan approached him in a restaurant in Greece for an impromptu meet and greet/photo. The story came out during a recent taping of The Joe Rogan Experience, in which the UFC commentator shared a recent Instagram post and said he just happened to run into Rose while on vacation.

As you can see in the photo above, only one person in that photo looks thrilled. As one commenter aptly put it, “[Axl] looks like he just got done listening to Joe talk about vitamins for 20 minutes.”

According to Rogan, they both hit it off during the unexpected meet up and Rogan was invited to attend the Guns N’ Roses show that evening. Sure enough, he did just that and posted a quick clip of the band from the side of the stage.

Now, this is mostly a joke. It looks to me like Axl either didn’t realize the photo was just taken or he’s trying to do the whole “gangstas don’t smile” thing. Who knows? If Rogan was invited to the show then something must have been going well in that restaurant.

Maybe this is a burgeoning friendship and the two will collaborate on a song or something. Maybe they can do a track like “It’s So Easy (to Spread Misinformation)” or “Dead Horse Pills.” Only time will tell, but at least we’ve got this photo of two ridiculous mugs.
