Thy Catafalque Drop Video for “A csend hegyei”

Posted on 24/04/2023 By
Thy Catafalque

Experimental black metal project Thy Catafalque just shared a new music video for “A csend hegyei” from their forthcoming album, Alföld.

The record is out June 16 via Season of Mist. The name of the new album means “The Great Plains” and returns to the artists heavy roots. Project mastermind Tamás Kátai includes both progressive and primal influences on this one.

Kátai says about the track:

“The title of the song means ‘The Mountains of Silence,’ and this is the opening track of the album with the vocals of Lambert Lédeczy from Ahriman and Mörbid Carnage. The song is somber and dark, something that has been inside me for years and finally released. The video was created by Chad Michael Ward and shot in Sweden.”
