Nearly a year after the release of Spike Hellis‘ debut self-titled LP (which also topped our Best of 2022 year end list), the Los Angeles-based duo announce a massive North American tour of nearly 40 dates from the end of March through May, with a date that includes Vancouver’s Verboten Festival. Several other beloved artists will act as support along the way including Secret Attraction, LLORA, Void Vision, Mother Juno, Moon 17 and Club Music.
EBM powerhouses, Cortland Gibson and Lainey, are undoubtedly one of the hardest working bands in the scene with their nonstop schedule of show dates—and their live performance is one of the most exciting. The intensity of Spike Hellis onstage is energetic, raw and legitimately insane with their custom made, multi-level setup. View the schedule below to find a city near you.
To sugar coat the tour buzz, Spike Hellis has additionally announced their remix album, Altitude Sickness, out on May 26th. The lead single is a remix by Chris Normal of Normal Bias and Multiple Man whose instantly recognizable grooves soften the sharp edge of “Mouth.” The song’s mysterious atmosphere wraps around Lainey’s vocals and takes grip throughout, while its insatiable beat makes for a club-ready gem.
