Rammstein Release New Video for “Dicke Titten”
For most of the world, Rammstein are the German band, inspiring countless international fans to proudly sing lyrics in the die deutsche Sprache. Now, the band are seemingly both enjoying and mocking what much of the world thinks of when they celebrate Germany in the new music video for “Dicke Titten.”
In classic Rammstein fashion, the band have a lot of weird, menacing-wink-of-the-eye fun with the “Dicke Titten” video (which, for the record, means big boobs). The short film seems to take place in an idyllic alpine town, filled with lederhosen, butter churns, and big-ass beers. Of course, there’s also the local tailor, who crossdresses in his basement during his off-time, no doubt envious of the huge, heaving bosoms present throughout the video. It’s very Rammstein, in that it plays with traditional concepts while also making us feel every so slightly uncomfortable throughout.
