Photos: Abbath, Black Anvil, and Imperial Triumphant at the Gramercy -

Near the tail end of last month, black metal titans descended upon Gramercy Theatre in New York City, melding the dark sounds of Abbath, Black Anvil, and Imperial Triumphant with the oppressive experience of being in a major metropolitan concrete labyrinth like New York City.

The trio of bands ripped through their respective sets, giving attendees an experience they won’t soon forget. Of special note was Imperial Triumphant’s set, which saw them playing Vile Luxury.
