Clutch to Reissue Slow Hole to China: Rare and Unreleased Next Month

Earth rockers, space truckers, and all-around model Marylanders Clutch may not have any new music until next year, but they’re doing a little somethin’ somethin’ for the oldheads out there next month. As it turns out, they announced earlier today that they’ll be reissuing 2003’s Slow Hole to China: Rare and Unreleased on vinyl and CD.

Set for release on July 5 via their own label Weathermaker Music, Slow Hole to China is a compilation of rare tracks and B-sides from the earlier part of their career. Featuring bangers like “Ship of Gold (West Virginia)”, “Willie Nelson”, and “Guild of Mute Assassins”, this one’s definitely a must-have if you’re a Clutch fan that appreciates physical media. (And given the amount of you guys rockin’ flannel and Maryland flag paraphernalia, I’m sure that’s a lot of you.)

Pre-orders are available right now through the band’s official merch page, with the vinyl edition coming in a cool smoke green colorway. It’s also only $25 for the vinyl, so that’s definitely a decent price point and something to consider as well.

All of this is perfect timing, as the band will be co-headlining ‘The Two-Headed Beast Tour’ with Rival Sons this September. Those two bands will be going from Brooklyn, New York on September 5 until they hit Las Vegas on October 10. Throughout the run of dates, they’ll have different supporting acts, including Fu Manchu and Black Stone Cherry. You can find the full list of dates below.
