Ghost Announce 2022 North American Tour with Mastodon and Spiritbox -

Man, occult-lite rockers Ghost have really dedicated 2022 to being on the road. The band just wrapped up a European tour, and have already announced a North American tour for this summer, with one hell of a line-up.

Opening up for Ghost will be Georgia stoner metal titans Mastodon and Canadian up-and-comers Spiritbox. What’s especially cool and unexpected, however, is that on the last date of the tour in Green Bay, Wisconsin, Mastodon will be replaced by death metal legends Carcass. So hey, Green Bay, get fucking heavy with it.

It’s pretty telling at this point in their careers that Mastodon are opening for Ghost. It’s more a statement on where Ghost are at — the new biggest metal band on earth — than Mastodon, who would draw a crowd during a hurricane in Hell.
