Dark Synth-Pop duo Sixth June debut Bittersweet Serbian Language Single “San Jam”

Posted on 17/04/2023 By

In a hauntingly beautiful new release, Sixth June, the Berlin-based Serbian dark synthpop duo, delves into the depths of winter solitude with their latest offering, “Sanjam.” Describing this bittersweet single as a moment of respite within the chaos of our modern world, Laslo Antal and actress Lidija Andonov, weave a stunningly poignant moment of peace and harmony for all who listen. Through their unique blend of haunting vocals and stirring melodies, Sixth June creates an ethereal soundscape that captures the heart and soul of the listener, transporting them to a world of introspection and contemplation. Andonov’s deep, resonant voice is simultaneously soothing and world-weary, a gentle caress over the airy synths.

The lyrics, sung in Serbian, mirror a woman entering the wintery silver stage of life – the bloom of youth has faded, but she’s cheating time; letting the wind carrying her somewhere far where she can dream and love. Her search for happiness is found in the heady smell of the air and the sky, as she surrenders to time and the tenderness within her soul. She dreams, she loves.
