Capra Continue to Take No Sh*t in Their Newly Announced Album Errors, “Tied Up” Streaming Now

Louisiana-based metallic hardcore outfit Capra are back and their second album is on the horizon. Set for release on October 6 via Metal Blade Records, Errors seeks to build on the band’s recent success by closely following up on what their 2021 debut offering, In Transmission, started.

Boasting 10 new songs, including the new single you can hear below titled “Tied Up,” both Errors and the band’s newest songs were described by vocalist Crow Lotus as a big “fuck you” to societal expectations and tribulations.

“‘Tied Up’ is about breaking the cycle of people-pleasing and disregarding the expectations others have of you if it isn’t what you want for yourself. It’s about the gamble of really being true to who you are, regardless of how anyone else might react to it. Errors in general is essentially a love-letter to my mistakes and the urge to become hardened by the trials of life rather than let them break me. It’s forging through fire.”

Some other artists have contributed their talents to the final product as well, with Walls Of Jericho vocalist Candace Kucsulain-Puopolo performs on “Human Commodity.” Additionally, Dustin Coffman from Glassing provided backing vocals.

In addition to the new album announcement and single release, the band has a European tour set to kick off later this month and has plans to get into the states for some shows with Zao and Your Spirit Dies. Dates for both runs can be found below.
