Sylosis Drop the Title Track from Their New Album A Sign Of Things To Come

Being a parent must be equal parts exciting and terrifying. At least that’s what I get from Sylosis’ new single and title track from their upcoming album, A Sign Of Things To Come. The new tune was dropped earlier today and it’s an absolute headbanger.

According to the band’s frontman Josh Middleton, “A Sign Of Things To Come” stems from his thoughts about the current state of the world and what that may mean for his children in the future.

“‘A Sign Of Things To Come’ is a declaration of dismay towards the modern world. It’s about the anxiety of what the future holds and the feeling of division in a society where everyone is pitted against each other. This was the last song to be written for the album. It quickly became apparent that this was going to be one of the biggest, most anthemic songs on the record.”

As the album’s third single, with “Deadwood” and “Poison For The Lost” already released, “A Sign Of Things To Come” simply kicks ass. That riff, man. Just… that riff.

A Sign Of Things To Come will be released on September 8 via Nuclear Blast, though you can preorder your copy today. For the album’s complete tracklist and artwork, as well as dates for their upcoming tour with Malevolence, be sure to scroll below the video for more.
