Alice in Chains’ “Would?” takes on new life with NITE’s rendition

Alice in Chains’ “Would?” takes on new life with NITE’s rendition

Posted on 10/10/2021 By Chris Relkneus

NITE is a popular band that many people don’t know about. The lyrics of NITE’s take on Alice in Chains’ song “Would?” reveal how Jerry Cantrell and Layne Stanley’s sound like tortured souls crying out to be heard. It is the perfect combination of fun and emotional depth.

I was in the car when I heard this song on the radio and I had to turn up the volume. The opening line, “Know me broken by my master” summoned my attention and I related to this song in a new way.

I believe that this song gave us a new perspective on our situation and helped us get through.
