Limp Bizkit are currently touring, and guitarist Wes Borland just spilled a lot of tea about plans for the next record in an interview with Guitar World.
Borland, who also did the interview to discuss all the gear he is currently auctioning off after years of collecting, talked about the next record the band will release following their 2021 album Still Sucks.
He says:
“…We’re talking about writing during all the soundchecks this year because we’re doing so much touring. We want to get recording—We’re talking about a travel destination to make an album together next year. We’re looking at places, so new music… yessir!
“This thing has been going for so long. I thought it would last for a few years, and I’d end up in art school saying, ‘I was in a band once!’ But 27 years later, we’re still going, which is wild. I’ve been in Limp Bizkit for more than half my life. We get along better than ever now. No one is taking anything for granted. We’re all just happy to be here and having a lot of fun.”
So, you heard it straight from the horse’s mouth—their will be more Limp Bizkit music in the future, if you’re into that sort of thing.
Limp Bizkit are currently on tour in Europe with Wargasm and Blackgold:
04/02 Vienna, AUT – Gasometer
04/03 Prague, CZE – Forum Karlin
04/04 Frankfurt, GER – Jahrhunderthalle
04/09 Tilburg, NET – 013
04/12 Manchester, UK – Manchester Academy
04/13 Birmingham, UK – O2 Academy Birmingham
04/16 London, UK – O2 Academy Brixton
04/17 London, UK – O2 Academy Brixton
