TRVE Brewing Join Forces with Godflesh, Sumerlands, and More for 11th Anniversary Baccahanal This June

This June, killer craft beer will unite with killer metal acts, as TRVE Brewing Company and AEG Present the 11th Anniversary Bacchanal. Created as a way to celebrate yet another year under the brewery’s belt, this year’s show will be headlined by none other than British industrial metal titans Godflesh.

Set to kick off at 6 p.m. on June 24 at The Gothic Theatre in Englewood, Colorado, the yearly show was created as a way to celebrate yet another year under the brewery’s belt. Founded in 2012, TRVE has ingratiated itself within the Denver craft brewing community, creating a brand that caters both to craft beer fans and fervent metalheads alike.

In addition to Godflesh, the rest of the lineup includes Sumerlands, Stormkeep, Spectral Voice, and Street Tombs. TRVE Brewing Company founder Nick Nunns said he was excited to attend this year’s festivities since some of the bands on the bill are ones he considers “bucket list bands.” This year is also the first time he’s been able to attend since 2019, since the 2020 and 2021 shows were canceled due to the COVID pandemic and he “ironically” came down with COVID last year.

“Last year’s anniversary show was our triumphant return to anniversary shows after the pandemic. Well, I missed the show last year, ironically due to a bout of COVID. To say I’m excited about this show is a massive understatement.

“There are a couple of bucket list bands on the lineup this year that I haven’t had the opportunity to see yet, so to get the opportunity to see them all in one place at our Eleventh anniversary show is gonna be a fuckin’ treat.

“I have to give some major kudos to our guy Shane McCarthy (events coordinator at TRVE Brewing Company); he busts his ass every year to put this thing together and has the perfect approach to holistically building a ripping lineup every time. Gotta give thanks to Danny Sax over at AEG as well; he always understands our approach to building these lineups and does the best job facilitating them for us.”

Tickets will go on sale this Friday, March 17 at 10 a.m. mountain time at the Gothic Theatre website.
