The Acacia Strain Announce a Second New Album, Failure Will Follow to Release the Same Day as Step Into The Light

If you were one of the many fans of The Acacia Strain fans that rejoiced at the thought of a new album coming this May, you may want to sit down. Earlier today, the deathcore and metalcore outfit made an unexpected announcement that they’re releasing a second slate of new music on the same day as their other new release.

On May 12, The Acacia Strain will not only release the previously announced Step Into The Light, but they’ll also offer up a new mini-release of sorts titled failure will follow. According to the band, the second release that day will feature “the sludgier side of the band.”

As you can hear in the 57 second clip below of the song “Basin Of Vows,” it sounds like the band is taking a different approach with that particular release.
