Orthodox Recorded a Surprise Live Album Over the Weekend

Orthodox recorded some tracks for a live album at a hometown show in Nashville, Tennessee, and it’s meant to capture the essence of their current raw and unchained live energy.
The straight edge metalcore band recorded the tracks at Basement East in Nashville last weekend during their double-header show with A Plea For Purging. They played two nights, focusing on rarely played songs on the first night and big heavy hits on the second, giving a sneak peak of what their upcoming tour with Boundaries will look like.
It’s still not clear what from the live shows will end up on the recording, but the band gave a bit more insight into their choice to do a live record:
“We decided a few months ago that we wanted to create a live record — something that can capture our energy on stage a little more accurately. This weekend we will be doing just that during our shows with @pleajams at Basement East in Nashville.
“Two nights / Two different sets
“Night 1: a mixture of old songs we haven’t played in years — some we may never play again.
Night 2: a set made of some of our heaviest hitters which we will be playing during our run with @boundariesct in May and June.
