Most Overused Motörhead Song Featured in Latest ‘Rick and Morty’ Trailer

Despite firing the show’s mastermind and voice behind so many its most recognizable characters, Adult Swim is continuing to milk the Rick and Morty cow without Justin Roiland’s involvement. But that’s old news at this point. What’s not news is the fact that the show’s latest trailer not only features the new voices of the titular characters, but it also uses one of the most overused Motörhead songs as well.

Yep, this new trailer features “Ace of Spades,” that classic little track that may as well be the band’s “Enter Sandman.” Nevermind that there are so many more badass Motörhead songs to choose from when putting together a trailer for a ridiculous (and somewhat long in the tooth) sci-fi show…

Whether you love or hate the show, there’s no denying that a lot of metalheads still gravitate to the show’s gorey, brutal, and nihilistic take on sci-fi. And that’s not even taking into account all the edgy neckbeards in our comments — those fuckers definitely got mad at McDonalds over Szechuan sauce.

Anyways, you can check out the trailer below. Do you think it’s enough to get you to watch the show even without Roiland’s involvement? Do you think it’s better without the alleged abuser? Let us know in the comments.
