Milwaukee Metalfest Dates Announced, Will Branch Out with Next Year’s Lineup

Earlier this year, the MIlwaukee Metalfest returned to the stage for the first time since 2004, bringing more than 30 bands together over Memorial Day weekend for one of the cooler metal shows of the year.

Having been revitalized by Hatebreed frontman Jamey Jasta after he purchased the rights to the festival, bands like Lamb of God, Corrosion of Conformity, Goatwhore, Shadows Fall, The Black Dahlia Murder, Napalm Death, and a whole list of other killer acts took to the stage.

With their eyes set on 2024, organizers for the festival announced earlier today that the show will return at The Rave/Eagles Club in Milwaukee from May 17 to May 19, 2024. With early bird passes now available, the folks behind the fest are calling it now — they’re going to offer “bigger headliners, more food, vendors, live podcasts and other surprises.”

And while we don’t have any bands officially on the bill as of yet, Jasta said he was working with booking agents to make sure the festival casts an even wider net across the heavy metal spectrum.

“The 2024 lineup keeps getting more & more stacked, I thought it would be difficult to top 2023 but we’ve already confirmed a more diverse line up of power metal, black metal, death metal and other elements that were harder to secure in 2023. Milwaukee Metal Fest 2024 will be one for the ages!”

Whether that’s just bluster or will actually come to fruition remains to be seen. Still, if you’re jazzed about even the possibility of there being an absolutely stacked bill, you can get your hands on early bird tickets right now, with one to three day options available with zero interest payment plans possible buy going to the fest’s eTix site.

As more details begin rolling in, we’ll be sure to keep you up to date.
