Bust out your JNCOs and find your Kangol bucket hat — it’s time for more Korn. The nü-metal icons released a new live album titled Requiem Mass today, which features the plugged-in part of a show they recorded last February at the Hollywood United Methodist Church in Los Angeles. Accompanied by backup singers and instrumentalists, the band play a number of songs off their latest album Requiem.
Well, in congress with their physical and digital release of the live album (which also came with a copy of Requiem if you missed it), they posted the video component to YouTube. Now, you can watch Jonathan Davis sing about the same topics he’s been touching upon since the release of their self-titled album from 1994.
At the time, the live performance was used as a way to celebrate the release of Requiem last February 3. Though there’s no physical version of this performance available at the moment, maybe you can play the music from your CD and time it just right with the video, that way you’re getting the best of both worlds.
As for actually seeing Korn live, there are so far only four shows planned at various points around the world. If you just happen to be near one of these four venues, be sure to check the dates below.
Korn 2023 Live Shows (so far)
04/02 Chiba, JAP – Knotfest Japan
05/13 Las Vegas, NV – Sick New World
06/17 Manchester, TN – Bonnaroo Music & Arts Festival
06/24 Monterrey, MEX – Machaca Festival
