Job For A Cowboy to Play Blue Ridge Rock Festival for Their First Show Back

I dunno what it is about Blue Ridge Rock Festival, but it seems like it’s the metal version of the fountain of youth, as this year’s four-day affair will host a special reunion show of Job For A Cowboy. Organizers are saying it’s going to be the band’s first show in seven years.

As you may or may not remember, last year’s Blue Ridge Rock Festival saw God Forbid hit the stage for the first time in several years, so it’s pretty cool that death metal’s getting a pretty consistent band back with Job For A Cowboy. This reunion show also makes sense since the band is apparently almost done working on a new album.

Reuniting for their ONLY performance for the foreseeable future, Death Metal powerhouse @JFACofficial returns to the stage for the first time in 7 years at @BlueRidgeRockFest 2023! A name synonymous with heavy music, JOB FOR A COWBOY was a constant on @MayhemFest, @SummerSlaughter, @DownloadFest, @Wackenopenair.official and more – becoming one of the largest torchbearers of Heavy Metal in the U.S. The band is rumored to be releasing their first album in 9 years in 2023. Experience this monumental, rare opportunity to see JFAC once more at Blue Ridge 2023!

It’s wild to even think that it’s been so long since JFAC played live. There was a time when they were all over the fucking place. You couldn’t go to a show without practically tripping over a Job For A Cowboy set. Yet now to see and hear them in 2023 is probably one hell of a special treat for new and old fans alike.

Tickets for the four-day festival are currently available on the Blue Ridge Rock Festival website, with package deals available that can include on-site camping and other features.
