Doom heads rejoice—more news from Conan already. The doom trio are planning to rerelease their well-rinsed records Horseback Battle Hammer and Blood Eagle on vinyl.
“We’re so happy to get Horseback Battle Hammer and Blood Eagle out there again,” the band say. “Both are long sold out, and often pop up in people’s ‘favorite Conan album’ lists, so it’s fun to let some new people discover them again.”
The U.K. doom powerhouse have been dormant for some time, but recently announced they are touring again, then dropped the news about these new releases, much to the joy of fans.
For those not familiar, Conan got started in 2007 with their first demo Battle In The Swamp, and since then built a global following in the world of doom and sludge alongside bands like Sleep, Acid King, and Bongripper.
Their latest album, Evidence of Immortality, was released August 2022 via Napalm Records, a follow-up to Existential Void Guardian in 2018.
