Cattle Decapitation Clip Shows the Making of “Solastalgia” Ahead of Its Music Video

Earlier this year, misanthropic extreme metal act Cattle Decapitation released Terrasite, a new slab of crushing tunes dealing with the fall of man and the rise of a weird part-man/part-bug hybrid person taking over the world. You know — that thing on the album cover.

Well, it turns out that we’re going to be getting a music video for the song “Solastalgia” later this week, so to get people hyped for that and to give a glimpse at how the sausage is made, the band released a behind the scenes video earlier today. Focused solely on the creation and recording of “Solastalgia,” the six and a half minute clip provides fans with a closer look at what goes into a Cattle Decapitation song.

In addition to the behind the scenes clip, which is featured below, the band also shared a 30 second teaser of the new video ahead of its release this Thursday. You can check both videos below.

As for what the band’s got going on in the coming weeks, they have a tour coming up next month with Immolation, Sanguisugabogg, and Castrator. For the full list of shows, be sure to scroll past the video.
