Avenged Sevenfold just officially dropped their “free for all” map that serves as a mod to the popular game Fortnite.
The game, which was teased back in November, officially got released today. The design of the map was inspired by the video for the Avenged Sevenfold song “We Love You.”
The band posted the following on Instagram about how to access the map:
“@Fortnite / UEFN is a platform that can be used by creators and artists to engage with their community in new and exciting ways. We have created a “free for all” style map based off of the music video for “We Love You.” We find this opportunity exciting and are happy to be one of the first musical acts to take advantage of this platform. In the coming months we will be releasing a social hub as well as other games. Jump into the Discord to play with other fans, create tournaments, find easter eggs and report bugs. The band will be in there playing all weekend. This is the beginning of something very new and cool and we want to thank the Epic team for helping us navigate this process. Jump in, have fun and get some kills.
– To find the map simply go to Fortnite’s main page
– Type in ‘Avenged’ or use code 8766-6365-6885 in the search bar
– Ready up”
Back in November, to tease the map, Avenged Sevenfold announced the collaboration via a cyberpubk-style video with a song and graphics based on their Live Is But a Dream… album, with the band’s song “(D)eath” playing in the background.
So fans can go ahead and get playing with this new map—and hopefully will also get stoked on their latest music video.
