Hope your pockets are deep and your wallet’s fat, because if you’ve made your peace with Phil’s…checkered past…and have already bought yourself a Pantera ticket to one of their upcoming shows with Lamb of God, you can upgrade that experience by getting one of three VIP upgrades to meet Zakk Wylde, get a photo with the man, and get a signed, stage-played guitar. You just need to pony up the additional $3,250 cost.
You read that right. For more than $3,000, you get a VIP upgrade to meet the guitar hero at one of the Pantera shows on their upcoming tour with Lamb of God. It’s important to note that this upgrade is offered separately from the concert ticket and isn’t connected to Pantera itself or their own meet-and-greet offering. This is a separate offering directly from Zakk.
And while you’ll have to purchase your ticket to the Pantera show separately from the VIP upgrade, you will be able to walk away with having had some face time with Wylde, some photos to mark the event, and you’ll walk away from the experience with a Wylde Audio guitar in either Barbarian Orange Buzzsaw, Barbarian Purple Blizzard, or Barbarian Genesis Bullseye in hand.
It should be noted that there will only be three VIP tickets available at each show, so the experience is very limited. Just know that if you think it’s the guitar’s that’s driving up the price, you’d be wrong. If you just wanted a Wylde Audio guitar, you can get one — albeit in a different finish — for around $1,400. That means your VIP experience with Zakk is actually being valued at $1,850 for the opportunity. That’s $1,850 for a photo with Zakk and a couple autographed pieces of memorabilia. Which, hey — that’s your prerogative if you’ve got the cash. That’s just a lotta clams.
