Weekend Reader Poll: How Do You Feel About Kerry King’s Solo Tracks So Far?
Follow us on social media
Earlier today, we all got to hear the second single from Kerry King‘s debut solo album From Hell I Rise, titled “Residue.” Considering today’s release, the previous single “Idle Hands,” and the fact that the album’s due to come out on May 17, it’s got us wondering — what does the MetalSucks faithful think about this whole project?
As we’ve reported in the past, this solo project is effectively a badass supergroup, thanks to the inclusion of Slayer drummer Paul Bostaph, Death Angel vocalist Mark Osegueda, ex-Hellyeah bassist Kyle Sanders, and former Vio-lence guitarist Phil Demmel. It’s led to some people even calling this Slayer-Lite, which is extra funny given the fact that Slayer’s back and committed to doing the occasional show here and there later this year.
So for this special weekend poll, we want you to let us know what you think about the pair of singles posted below. Do you think the Kerry King solo project will kick ass or not?
Voting will run until 12 p.m. EST this Monday, so you only have a couple days to get your votes in. Ultimately, we’ll share the results on the website, hopefully with some of your comments in tow. So feel free to vote and comment down below. You might end up in the follow up article.
