The new single from Catalysts - Sylvia - out now - Gothic Radio Station

CATALYSTS is an anthemic punk rock band formed in South Wales, the UK in 2018.

Their eclectic musical style combines influences from alternative punk rock and fuses them with epic electronic synth elements which bring a unique sound to the band’s songwriting.

Following their debut release “ALIVE” in May 2020, Catalysts released their 2nd Single, a Prog-Punk-Rock anthem “The Otherside” on 31st October 2020 and now release Sylvia ahead of a brand new e.p. later in 2021.

The band says, ‘Sylvia represents those toxic relationships, good when you’re partying. But just like the hangover comedown the next morning, not so good for functioning in the real world. Sylvia was one of the first songs that shaped CATALYSTS’ sound’.

CATALYSTS is an accumulation of members from other bands formed during the South Wales music scene “The Kennedy Soundtrack”, “Panz Agenda” and “Under Crimson Skies”.

CATALYSTS members are: David Challenger – Lead Vocals, Elliot Blake – Riff Guitar and Synth, Craig O’Connor – Rhythm Guitar and Backing Vocals, Paul Owen – Bass Guitar, Haitham Alhardan – Drums

Sylvia was produced by the band and Rob Thomas (Kids in Glass Houses) at One Louder Studios, Newport.
