Clutch Will Tour Even More of North America This Summer with Dinosaur Jr. and Red Fang

Clutch 2022 Dan Winters

Maryland rockers Clutch are going to keep the party rolling well into the summer, as their “No Stars Above Tour” will return to North America this July. We previously reported on the first leg of this tour, which will go from April 11 to May 18, but this second half will kick off on July 21 in Washington, DC and come to an end on August 5 in Denver, Colorado.

As they’ve been wont to do over the years, Clutch have piled on the tour dates in support of their latest (and fucking awesome) album Sunrise On Slaughter Beach. Knowing them, I wouldn’t be shocked if they pulled out the bones of a new song or two while on tour, but we’re probably a while away from new material.

Either way, this second stint across North America will only take place after Clutch spend some time over in Europe, both performing in the major summer festival circuit and as part of their own set of dates. Once they come back to our side of the world in July, Clutch will have Dinosaur Jr. and Red Fang coming along with them as support.

Tickets will go on sale this Friday at 10 a.m. local time. If you haven’t caught Clutch live yet or you’ve seen ’em a dozen times, you definitely need to do so. Their shows are always a blast.
