With their debut album due later this year, Texas hard rock band Catch Your Breath have released a new track dubbed “No Evil” and its accompanying music video. Featuring the kind of heavy rhythms, breakdowns, and sometimes poppy choruses amidst verses of screaming aggression you’d expect most zoomers would appreciate, the song definitely packs a lot into its two and a half minute run time.
Catch Your Breath have been uploading tracks to Thriller Records’ YouTube page for a few months now, ultimately gaining enough of a following to get nearly a million monthly listeners on Spotify.
Regarding the new track, the band said “No Evil” deals with the sort of gaslighting, bigotry, and bullshit that have become the norm in today’s society.
“We see a lot of hate, bigotry and discrimination from a group of people who love to preach the opposite. They love to target our friends in different communities while simultaneously, turning a blind eye to their own who commit the worse offenses. We went back to our heavier side for a song like this and want to let all our friends and supporters know in these communities that always get targeted by hate, we see you and stand strong with you.”
