Whoops! AC/DC May Have Just Leaked That They’re About to Rock on a North American Tour

When you get a group of guys together who are in their 60s and 70s, I can understand why they’re not the most adept at using social media. But when they’re one of the biggest bands in the world, you’d think they’d hire some people who understand technology. Well, it seems that someone in the AC/DC camp screwed up, because an accidental Facebook post may have just leaked the upcoming announcement of a North American tour for the Australian hard rock icons.
Apparently, AC/DC’s official Facebook account created an event for an upcoming AC/DC tour date at U.S. Bank Stadium in Minneapolis, MN yesterday for April 11, 2025. The account deleted the event, but not before an Instagram account called @acdcimages caught a screenshot of it. As The PRP reports, the event also seemed to show that the onsale date for tickets would be this coming Friday, indicating that an announcement is likely imminent.
The post referred to it as the “PWR/UP Tour,” which would make sense because Power Up or PWR/UP is the name of their most recent album and also the name of their European tour that they went on this past spring and summer. The European tour was so wildly popular that they managed to sell a whopping 1.5 million tickets in the first 24 hours that sales opened up. That’s a hell of a lot of people lining up to watch senior citizens sing party anthems, and there’s good reason to believe that a North American tour will prove equally popular.
Obviously we’ll update you if and when the official announcement comes for, as it seems like AC/DC is about to rock, we salute them.
