Spiritbox Has New Material Ready

For a band that just recently started picking up steam among their fanbase, Spiritbox sure are taking the whole “strike while the iron is hot” thing to heart. During a recent interview with Revolver, vocalist Courtney LaPlante revealed that the band already has new music done and ready for release. The only question now is when they’ll put it all out.
“We love to sabotage ourselves. So we’re like, ‘Hey, let’s throw in writing new music, too’ — and hopefully, we’ll get some new music out in the first half of the year. After that, we’re gonna hibernate and hopefully write an album. That’s the goal. Crazy first half of the year, pretty chill second half.
“Now we have to figure out when do we show you the songs? Do we show you in March? Do we show you in September? Or do we wait until 2024? I don’t know. We wrote this music because we really wanna share it with you. It made us feel a certain way and we wanna see if it makes you feel a certain way, too.”
As you may recall, their debut album Eternal Blue dropped back in 2021, followed by Rotoscope last year. If they decide to keep up that pace, Spiritbox could end up with three albums in three years, which is a pretty good pace for a young band not named King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard.
Later on, LaPlante said she hoped to have the band’s new material out “as soon as possible” if “eveyrthing aligns and we feel really strongly” about the overall package.
All of these details came just weeks after Spiritbox dropped from their previously announced dates on the Falling In Reverse tour. At the time, fans were lambasting LaPlante and the rest of Spiritbox for jumping onto a tour with Ronnie Radke.
As of today, the band is currently on their first headlining tour with support from The Burial and Intervals for their first-ever headlining tour. You can get tickets for those dates today.
