Have you still not gotten your fill of early 2000s metalcore acts trading on your nostalgia? Then you’re in luck because Shadows Fall announced a special 20th anniversary show in celebration of The War Within. Set to take place on December 21 at The Palladium in Worcester, Massachusetts, the show will see the band’s classic lineup hitting the stage in celebration of such a momentous landmark.
When the day comes, they’ll share the stage with supporting acts Unearth, E-Town Concrete, Jasta, Within The Ruins, and Brick By Brick.
As it stands, Shadows Fall has been gearing up for a full on return complete with new music on the horizon. This past August, the band signed a deal with a record label and have been working on their first new album in more than a decade. At the time, frontman Brian Fair said the band signed on with a “very progressive” label that would let them “release [the new album] in a way that makes sense.”
Though we don’t know much more about the band’s efforts to write and record new music, nor do we have even an inkling of a time frame for when such new music would come out, at least they’ve been playing shows and giving fans a taste of what’s to come.
