British metalcore outfit Architects are back with the announcement of a new album coming early next year, as well as the release of that album’s third official single, “Whiplash.” Set for release on February 28, 2025, The Sky, The Earth & All Between is the band’s 11th studio album.
Produced by Jordan Fish, the track has a dark, kinda grimy feel to it, while still remaining the hyper produced and modern sounding. Drummer Dan Searle said “Whiplash” was only the beginning.
“‘Whiplash’ marks the beginning of a new era for Architects. It is a song that speaks of tribalism, of a deepening chasm that lies between human beings based simply on opinions and beliefs. It gave us the opportunity to explore these concepts in a way that we haven’t before and for the first time in a while it gave us fuel to write something truly ferocious.”
You can check out the new track below. If you’d like to pre-order or pre-save the album ahead of time, be sure to do so today.
