Limp Bizkit, Pantera, Slipknot to Headline Inkcarceration This July

For three days in Ohio this July, scores of metalheads are going to want to end up in a penitentiary, as the 2023 edition of the Inkcarceration Music & Tattoo Festival will once again take over the historic grounds of the Ohio State Reformatory. From July 14 to July 16, more than 50 bands and 65 tattoo artists will do their thing, rocking faces off and repeatedly jabbing attendees with needles.

This time around, Limp Bizkit, Pantera, and Slipknot will headline the show on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, respectively. In addition other major acts like Megadeth, Volbeat, Lamb of God, and more will fill out the bill, offering a wide range of rock and metal to the masses.

Dan Janssen, general manager and co-creator of Inkcarceration, touted this year’s planned festival as a must-see, can’t miss event.

“We’re celebrating our 5th anniversary with a killer lineup representing each year of Inkcarceration, as well as over 50 bands who are new to the festival. This year is all about serving an incredible experience to our fans that show up for us year after year, and we can’t wait to celebrate together with them in July!”

Like years past, Inkcarceration is the result of an ongoing partnership between the country’s largest independent festival producer (Danny Wimmer Presents) and Inkcarceration’s creators. What results is an event where passes for the last two years have sole out in within weeks of the lineup announcement, so organizers are expecting another crowd of more than 75,000 metal and tattoo fans this year.

If you’re interested in picking up a pass for yourself and your friends, you’re gonna have to head on over to Inkcarceration’s page. There you can buy everything from hotel packages to weekend camping packages, all depending on the level of comfort you want for that weekend. The full list of performers for the weekend’s festivities can be found below.
