The day for trick or treating may be well and done, but that’s not going to stop Danish death metal/metallic hardcore outfit Lifesick from releasing the music video for their track “Hollow Treats.” Anyone familiar with this band knows they can throw down with the best of ’em and this track is a four-minute fist to the temple.
Coming straight off their latest album Loved By None, Hated By All, which was released this past Friday, November 1, the song’s lyrics apparently deal with the “turbulent nature of life.” This is what the band had to say about the song:d
“When we were born, we were told all these fairytales about what the world had in store for us. But as soon as you get a taste, you realize there’s nothing inside — no love, no compassion, nothing. This song is catchy with groovy two-step rhythms and even groovier breakdowns. It’s a hardcore track with plenty of sing-along parts, and it ends with a twist of acoustic elements.”
If the song below’s got you movin’ and groovin’, then you’re already there, man. Just hit play and see how it hits ya. Oh and you can catch Lifesick live at any of the shows listed below.
