10 Fragen / 10 Antworten
1. When and why did you become a musician
I’m not sure if I see myself as a musician, or if I ever have. I started making music in Linköping Sweden, back in 1989. That’s when it all commenced, but I think I have always carried this desire with me for as long as I can remember; the urge to create, to manifest the vision I have inside. And that explains why, because I have to.
2. What are your characteristics? What makes you special?
Just being me makes me quite special I’d say. I’m persistent, I’m patient, socially capable, inventive, realistic, meticulous and polite.
- Food – Sushi

- Drink – Prosecco
- Sexual Position – the 69
- Invention – the Hold-up Stocking
- Bird – the Flamingo
- Number – 4
- Color – Brown
- Serial Killer – Ariel Sharon
- City – Jonestown
- Family – the Manson Family
3. Who and what inspired you??
Life inspires me. All its endless variations. The heartaches and the moments of total bliss. The anguish of existence and the ecstasy of obsession.
5. How do you imagine listening to your music? Where do you like to listen?
It’s obvious that people do listen to our music, but I have never asked myself where, and I can’t really imagine it. But I’ve been told on occasion that our music is the perfect soundtrack for bedroom activities, and that’s fine with me. I personally listen to music in the studio or on the bus.
4. Who are your most important role models and why?
Maybe I’m more affected than I’m able to comprehend, but in theory I think the idea of role models is stupid, even absurd. Are we really that lost that we need to look to others to find the moral beacons by which to direct our own lives? I’d like to believe that we realize who we are by understanding and accepting our own desires and motives and from there we become ourselves. What would it suggest if your role models were Hitler or Jesus?
6. What role do social media play in your career? How important is YouTube or Instagram for you?
For me personally, both Instagram and YouTube have zero importance, but for ORE, social media is of outmost importance. Social medias have replaced magazines, fanzines, radio and television. And with the use of social media, even bands and artists without labels, without promotional backup and/or financial support can manage to promote themselves to success and popularity. I personally can’t seem to genuinely interact with Instagram, and our relationship is complicated at its very best. I tend put to much thought into the pictures I post, and since people in general tend to appreciate and/or prefer pictures where you eat, go to the bathroom or show your tits, I just can’t win. (Especially since I don’t have any tits to show). I personally don’t use YouTube to any greater extent for my own personal gratification or interests (there are other channels for that), but for Ordo it is an important application. Without active integration on twitch or twitter for example, I don’t see any other way to accumulate 2.3M views and accomplish such social impact for ourselves.
7. Do you actually do anything besides the music?
8. What has been the best performance you’ve seen so far?
I try not to, but it doesn’t seem to work. So I need to maintain a job on the side. So on the side of Ordo Rosarius Equilibrio I’m head chef.
The best performance I have ever seen was Skinny Puppy at Gothic Festival in Waregem Belgium 2010. It was an incredible journey down memory lane and a fantastic performance altogether.
9. Who should play you when your life is filmed?
10. Last question: What do you want for the next 10 years, what do you need for it?
From a musical perspective I would like the opportunity to create another two or three albums that are both progressive and interesting. And finally after years of trying to make it happen, I want to record our first entirely self produced videos. And finally, possibly seize the opportunity to perform in North America and return to South America. From a more personal perspective I would like some peace of mind, and in order to accomplish any of this, I need time.
