Hopefully You Won’t Have to Be Quiet and Drive (Far Away) for This Deftones Beer

Yeah, I know that’s a pandering headline. Just let me have this one, okay? We’re talking about another beer from the dudes in Deftones. Like their other adult beverage releases, the Sacramento-based band is once again teaming up with Belching Beer Brewery for the release of their Blueberry Wheat Ale they’ve named ‘Bored’. You know, like that song off their 1995 album Adrenaline.

Set to release this Friday, the beer’s got a reasonable ABV of 4.5%, making it pretty drinkable without having to worry about getting your ass slammed into dust by super high alcoholic content. Speaking of the beer, Belching Beaver Brewery put out the following statement, going into more of the tasting notes that you could expect if you pour this down your gullet.

“We’re thrilled to announce the pre-sale for our newest collaboration with Deftones – introducing Bored, a Blueberry Wheat Ale, 4.5% ABV!
