Italian, horror-loving death metalers Fulci are releasing Tropical Sun – The short movie, a musical film inspired by the 70’s horror aesthetic that fuels the band.
The film will be out February 27 via Time To Kill Records, along with a soundtrack released in seven-inch format.
If the band’s name, home country, and aesthetic didn’t tip you off, they have a major love for Lucio Fulci’s zombie films, and now, they’re bringing their own take on that concept to life with Tropical Sun, based on Fulci’s Zombi 2. The band worked with Ritual Video to create the film, a short but gory tail as old as time about a doctor who raises the dead.
The DVD comes in a red case and is available with different collectible fliers, and the art for the film was drawn by Solo Macello. Final layout was done by Studio Ascionemagro. The soundtrack was worked on with Fulci and TV-Crimes.
Tracklist:
01. Tropical Sun (Main Theme)
02. Eye Full of Maggots
The band’s latest full-length album, Exhumed Information, is out now via Time To Kill Records.
