It only takes a few moments to look at the devastation left in the wake of Hurricane Helene to recognize that there are entire communities that need help. Homes destroyed, entire local economies wiped out… it’s real hard shit to deal with. So with all that in mind, Converge released a new live album from a 2022 show that they will be donating all proceeds to help those in need.
The live album, titled Live in Orlando, FL 03.14.22 features audio from the band’s show at The Abbey in Orlando on March 14, 2022, though you probably understood all that given the title. According to the band, the performance was recorded by Zach Rippy, with the band’s very own Kurt Ballou handling production.
Both a digital version and a vinyl version are on offer, with all proceeds going directly to Mutual Aid Disaster Relief and their efforts to help the regions hit hard by the hurricane.
Spanning 18 songs, the digital version is available right now for $10 or more. If you want a physical copy of the album, however, you’re going to need to sign up for the vinyl waitlist. You can find links to both options directly from the band.
If you’d like to also catch the band live, they’ve got a few shows lined up later this year. You can find the full list of dates below.
