Check Out this Ben Stiller and Bob Odenkirk Metallica Skit from 1992

There is all kinds of metal spoof and parody gold you can find if you search long enough on the internet, and one of the best sketches is definitely Ben Stiller and Bob Odenkirk parodying Metallica‘s “Enter Sandman.”

The sketch comes from a 1992 episode of The Ben Stiller Show and also features, in addition to Stiller, Bob Odenkirk, today of Breaking Bad and Better Call Saul fame. The two parody James Hetfield and Lars Ulrich, and they really nailed it.

As you can see above, the skit parodies Headbanger’s Ball, calling it Headslammer’s Ball, and in the skit, “Enter Sandman” became “The Father/Son Switching Song.” The fake video they made even uses actual shots from the “Enter Sandman” video. The spoof even features Janeane Garofalo interviewing the actors.
