Belushi Speed Ball’s Selling a Sh*tty Clap Back at Green Day’s Dookie Stunt

It all started with something so innocent sounding enough. Green Day showed up one day, using a Teddy Ruxpin (among other old items) to celebrate the 30th anniversary of their seminal album Dookie. Har har har, we all had a laugh and that was the end of it.
Except it wasn’t. The dudes in irreverent thrash outfit Belushi Speed Ball were noticeably not thrilled. They’d done the Teddy Ruxpin thing once before and that didn’t even account for all the promotional material they made using old toys, video game consoles, and slices of pizza encased in resin in the past. They felt they were being “ripped off” by the band’s Dookie Demastered, so what’s a band like them supposed to do in a situation like this?
Doggie doo single. Labrador shit track. Release “This is the Peak” with dog shit is encased in resin. Obviously. Over on eBay, they’re selling a 1/1 copy of “This Is The Peak Dookie Single” and the actual product is as previously described: dog shit encased in resin. That’s going to spark one hell of a conversation for whoever buys this thing.
Speaking of the single and shitty item, Belushi Speed Ball’s Vinny Castellano had this to say about the item:
“After the shock of Green Day’s announcement set in. A fellow bestie, Scott Mcgovern, turned to me and said ‘Well at least they didn’t do Pizza!’ And I jokingly said, ‘We should release a song on Dookie’. And then WE MADE IT HAPPEN! We are now offering the world the first ever, Dog Poop Single. You can listen to us gush about Fantano’s thighs through a heaping smoldering chunk of Labrador Feces. Which we have forever preserved in resin. This is a 1 of 1 item from us, which we will NEVER make again.”
As of right now, there’s only a single $1 bid on the item, so there’s still plenty of chance to go over to the page and snipe the shit out of it. I mean, who doesn’t want actual dog shit encased in a bowl of resin?
